The NanoPi R1 is a complete open source board developed by FriendlyElec for IoT applications.

The NanoPi R1 has a Gbps and a Fast Ethernet ports, onboard WFi and Bluetooth module. The standard version has 1GB RAM (optional 512M RAM) and 8GB eMMC (optional 0GB eMMC). It has two USB2.0 ports and one TTL serial port which can be extended to connect 3G/4G devices etc. The NanoPi R1 works with Linux 4.1 mainline kernel, UbuntuCore and FriendlyWrt. This makes it highly adaptable to various software applications and can be widely used in IoT applications.
