Important Maintenance Note: The probe cap is sealed with a protective liquid (3.3mol/L KCl) to preserve the electrode. Occasional seepage may occur around tightly secured caps, resulting in the formation of white crystals. This is a standard chemical occurrence and does not compromise the lifespan or accuracy of the probe. It is recommended that any crystallized material be carefully brushed or poured back into the protective liquid within the cap.
