Why did you make it?

Because to date, there have been very limited 5Ghz flipper compatible wifi boards on the market.  Currently most options that exist revolve around the use of a C5 Dev-Kit.  This is the first fully designed from the ground up C5 board in this form factor.

What makes it special?

This is a custom-made ESP32 C5 board, not just a dev kit.  It also features built-in logic that lets you switch the integrated IR Blaster between the flipper (default) and the ESP32 Chip.  Also with a wide-angle IR Receiver on the ESP32, you can capture and decode IR Signals using GhostESP firmware.

Oh, also – The IR LEDs have been in development for close to a year and just like our other blasters, are 100% custom made for maximum range (with a 35-Degree angle of spread).

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• While the hardware has been fully tested and confirmed to be working, not all features may be fully implemented as of the posting of this.
• The Screen you receive will either be a BLUE OLED or WHITE OLED screen.  We cannot promise which color you receive as the screens are random, and will be shipped at random.
• The board your receive will have 6 IR LED pads but only 4 are populated.  this is intentional as the initial design offered 6 LEDs with a lower output power. By switching to our custom-made High-Output LEDs, we were able to get more output using 4 LEDs with the same amount of power draw.  It is crucial not to add or use 6 LEDs as it can pull too much current and damage your flipper.  Future revisions of this board will only have 4 LEDs and will not include the two extra pads.
