A special bundle we have put together for portable active Inmarsat reception. We have designed this bundle to be compatible with most common SDRs, including all the SDRs in our lineup!
Our high performance L-Band (Inmarsat) patch antenna with a gain of ~3.5dBi and a female SMA connector. The antenna works very well for both right hand circularly polarized (RHCP) and linear signal types, and has excellent performance over the entire range of Inmarsat signals. The antenna is only 95mm x 79mm (3.75" x 3.10") and weighs just 21g (0.75oz)!
Receives Inmarsat broadcasts with ease, even when not well pointed at the appropriate satellites, which drastically simplifies setup. We have used this antenna with great success for AERO and STD-C signals, even indoors!
