• A logic upgrade from a CPLD to a power-efficient FPGA
• A modern USB-C connector
• A cutout in the PCB provides space for future add-ons
• More RAM and flash memory for custom firmware
• A built-in TCXO crystal oscillator for superior timing stability
• Elimination of the DC spike, a common source of end-user confusion 
• Installed shielding around the radio section

We designed HackRF Pro with compatibility in mind to ensure integration with existing add-ons, including Opera Cake from Great Scott Gadgets, most PortaPacks, and some enclosures from third-party manufacturers. It will be packaged in an injection-molded plastic enclosure similar to the HackRF One enclosure.
